November 30 – December 2, 2018
The Eau Palm Beach Resort
Palm Beach, Florida

This special weekend is open to all practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique and its advanced program. The course is not related to the 2 week Advanced Maharishi Vedic Science Course.

Q: What is the cost and what is included?

A: $1085 single, $1480 double ($740 per person);

  • Full-time TM-Teacher rate: $800 single and $1150 double ($575 per person).

The fee includes the course, two nights’ accommodation at a five star resort and vegetarian meals for Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch.

Q: What will happen on the course?

A: Extended practice of your TM (or TM-Sidhi program if applicable), instruction in easy-to-practice Maharishi YogaSM Asanas, as well as a simple neuro-respiratory breathing technique called Pranayama. These gentle mind/body programs aid in easily removing surface stress and strain, smoothing the way to deeper experiences of TM practice.

This specially designed course will provide deep, rejuvenating rest for the body and mind. This deep rest will allow the body to naturally eliminate deeper stresses and fatigue, enhancing clarity, energy, and happiness when you return home.

Q: When does the course start and end?

A: You should plan to arrive on Friday afternoon. Hotel check-in starts at 4:00 pm. Group program for Sidhas will begin at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served Friday evening 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm followed by a meeting for everyone at 8:00 pm. There will be meetings on Saturday morning, afternoon and evening and on Sunday morning. The course will officially end on Sunday after lunch, but we strongly encourage you to stay to hear Dr. Nader’s talk from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Sunday.

Q: Should we plan on leaving the course after lunch on Sunday?

A: You may, but we strongly encourage you to stay for a special talk by Dr. Nader on Sunday, December 2 at 2:00 pm. This event will be livestreamed and open to the public. This optional event is included in your course fee.

Q: When will I receive the course schedule?

A: All meetings, meals and guest rooms will be at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, a Forbes Five Star resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The Eau has its own private beach, two pools and lush tropical gardens. Each guest room features a sliding glass door onto a private balcony. Daily parking fee is $15/day, discounted for us from $30/day. The hotel has extended a special rate to course participants 3 days before and 3 days after the course. Please call 800-328-0170 and ask for the Raam Raj Foundation rate. Make a vacation of it and enjoy their amazing spa! The Eau is 8 miles, 15 minutes from Palm Beach International airport and about 45 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Q: Should I bring a Yoga Mat with me for this weekend?

A: We recommend you bring your yoga mat and a small blanket for the Yoga Asanas practice on this course.

Q: Can I still attend the course if I am not interested or eligible to receive an Advanced Technique of Transcendental Meditation?

A: Yes! We would love for you to attend.

Q: What is the cost?

A: In addition to room and board fee, the fee for Advanced Techniques is $960 for Adults, $480 for students and $1,680 for Couples.

Q: What is the recommended time of meditating before learning an Advanced Technique?

A: Normally the recommended time is two to four months.

Q: What are Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation?

A: Simple techniques that accelerate development of consciousness. During TM, we experience a fourth state of consciousness, a state of restful alertness, which dissolves stress, enhances brain functioning, and balances the body and emotions. The Advanced Techniques speed up the integration of this fourth state; they bring faster results from your regular TM practice.

Q: How many are there?

A: Four — all developed and refined by Maharishi over many years.

Q: Do I learn them all at once or one at a time?

A: One at a time. Typically, an Advanced Technique should be practiced regularly for at least two to four months before adding the next one.

Q: Who can learn, and how do I know if I am ready?

A: If you have been regular with your TM practice for the last two to four months, you are eligible to apply. You do not have to be a long-time or “advanced” meditator to learn an Advanced Technique. Each technique is simple—easy to learn, easy to practice—and, best of all, enjoyable!

Q: How do we sign up?

A: On the application form, click Yes to the question, “Do you want to apply to receive an Advanced Technique on this course?” Then pay for the Advanced Technique on the Payment Page which appears after you submit the application.

Q: Who teaches the Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation?

A: A certified expert who studied these techniques specifically will be available to teach during the weekend using instructional videos prepared by Dr. Nader.
